Republican’s call ACORN out
“ACORN is a non-profit, non-partisan social justice organization with national headquarters in New York, New Orleans and Washington, D.C.” - From the ACORN.org website.
Representative Steve King from Ohio brought this to my attention tonight. First it’s supposed to be non-parisian, but they are self-described as a ”grassroots community organization of low- and moderate-income people” so clearly not a pro-Republican organization.
Either way a latest oversight report from the House trashes ACRON pretty well, here’s the first sentence from the executive summary, “The Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) has repeatedly and deliberately engaged in systemic fraud”
This is the same organization where Obama got his start in politics and has now been enlisted as a “partner” to help w/ the census.
