C-Span is the best thing on TV
Amazing questions asked by congress today to GM and Chrysler CEOs. The basic problem is concerning dealship franchises. Several thoughts come to mind.
- Dealerships are franchses, if you’re an owner of a dealership and you have a new contract and you don’t like it, find a new business or don’t sign the contract. Do not complain to congress. Your rights aren’t being taken away, they would only be taken away if you were forced to sign something.
- Fiats are coming to the US under the Chrysler brand, enough may have passed they young people might buy them. (I would probably only buy Japanese or German if I were to buy a car).
- Frank Lautenberg (Dem from NJ) sounds and looks near death - he asked several questions that were previously covered in the testimony - not trying to make a joke here it’s just sad and scary.
