Healthcare debate
Good or bad, but it’s pretty much agreed that it makes up about 1/6 of the US economy.  Not something that should be rushed… just a thought. Can’t we just make small changes, not how the legislative process works?

The House approved a bill that give states extended benefits with unemployment rates of 8.5% or higher. So your out of luck if your state happens to not have super unemployment… seems totally fair-ish, or totally arbitrary.

auto industry gets another 200 million today
The House passed funding today that allows the Energy Department to spend up to $200 million more each year on research and development for advanced-technology vehicles and auto parts. It’s amazing how much support this industry gets, is the auto industry to inept to succeed on their own?
